Great peaceful location with a lovely view. The cottage has everything you would need for a relaxing holiday in the countryside away from it all. Warm and cosy with plenty of space, comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen. Plenty of local beaches, wildlife and scenery to see. Logan Gardens are lovely and the food is delicious. The red kite feeding at Laurieston is unique and quite a sight to see. The Logan Fish Pond is a peculiar tourist attraction and we were glad we went but it was a bit of a surreal entertaining experience.

March 2018

Booked this cottage on the last minute for my husbands birthday after our plans changed and so glad we did! The place is amazing and so relaxing, far too big for just the two of us but we happily rattled around in supreme comfort. Arriving on the only day it has ever snowed at the cottage I have never been so warm, we had to keep turning down the heating and only had the open fire on once. As everyone has already said the most fabulous thing is just to sit in the two chairs and watch the ever changing scenery and animals through the picture window, I think we only saw two cars pass by whilst we were there! Most of the local attractions were closed at this time of year so we spent our time walking and exploring the local coastline. Met some fabulous locals in Drummore and bought some crabs and lobster from a local fisherman. Loved it so much we've already booked again for September.

March 2018

We had a fantastic time at Knockinaam House! The house itself was spotless and everything you needed was there to hand. Beautiful wildlife surrounds you, and great walks nearby. We visited Stranraer often and used the swimming pool and local shops there. Portpatrick is beautiful to visit, as is Sandhead for a great beach option!

September 2017

The house was the perfect size for our group of eight and was lovely clean and modern. The kitchen was well kitted out with everything needed to cook for eight...the slow cooker was a god send! The location was beautiful and peaceful with a lovely sunset over the sea. Portpatrick was a short drive answer worth a visit. Would definitely recommend a stay!
